YOUTH VOICES AND STORIES

Their work includes a shared group poem, “When We Speak Together We Strive Together,” and two story projects: “My Choice My Future” and “Becky’s Choice.” Together, they show how young people can stand up for their dreams and for their rights, even when it’s hard.

My Choice My Future

“My Choice My Future” follows a student who quietly builds his own path: waking up before dawn, pushing through tired days, and choosing teaching as his dream career because it fits his strengths and heart. The story asks parents and students to make education decisions together not by force so that every young person can stand confidently in the future they chose.

Becky’s Choice

In “Becky’s Choice,” a girl is taken in by a family hoping for love but is slowly turned into unpaid “help” and pushed toward child marriage. Instead of staying silent, she documents what is happening, tells a trusted adult, and fights for her right to safety and school. Her story becomes a guide for classmates on how to recognize exploitation and seek help without violence.
